Have you done a few neutral routes in Undertale that you are not proud of? Want to start over? Worry not, because there is a solution!

  1. 1

Open your File Explorer and go to "This PC".

    • This PC may be under a different name such as, My Computer or just Computer.
    • It may be under a different name entirely if you or someone else who used the computer renamed it.
  2. 2

Go to the "C Drive" or (C:).

    • This again could be under a different name such as OS (C:), Local Disc (C:), System (C:), or Windows (C:).
    • If it is under a different name you will know you're in the right place because it has (C:) after the name.

  3. 3

Once in the C Drive, click on users.

  4. 4

Go to the User you are currently on. This could be any number of things because it is customizable. But it is the name that you set as the User.

    • If unknown, press the Windows key and R at the same time. Then a window will pop up and say Open. If it is not already in the blank next to where it says open, type cmd or cmd.exe then click OK . Then another window will pop up with lots of text. Simply type in WHOAMI (no spaces) and this will show which user you are currently logged in as.
  5. 5

Go AppData. This will be near the top of the list.

  6. 6

    Open Local.

  7. 7

Find the folder which says UNDERTALE. You might have to scroll down some to find it as the list is in alphabetical order.

    • This is where your save file is stored.
  8. 8

Delete or move your saved game. You can either delete the file or move it to a place holder location on your computer if you want to revisit your old save again.

On the menu, it doesn't let you change your name; it keeps your name but resets only your progress. A true reset resets the whole game - name and everything.

  • Question

How do I act Like Sans from Undertale?

    Doggo

Be mysterious, yet have great charisma. Make yourself appear to have great power, yet don't show it unless it is necessary.

  • Question

I can't find the AppData. I'm on a Windows, it isn't under the user, and I've checked every other user.

In your User's folder, look at the View tab of your Windows Explorer. At the "Show/hide" section, make sure the "Hidden Items" checkbox isn't ticked. If this still doesn't work, follow these steps: 1) Open "Command Prompt". 2) Enter the string of text below: attrib -s -h C:\Users\myusername\AppData The command above would remove any attributes set on this folder that could hide the folder.
